Eyes (Make 2 with Cream yarn)
R1: Make a MR, 6 sc into the ring. (6 sts)
R2: Inc in each st around. (12 sts)
Sl st to join, FO, leaving a long tail for sewing.
Sew these cream circles around the safety eyes on the main body to create the large eye patches.
Wings (Make 2 with Light Blue yarn)
R1: Ch 4. Sc in the 2nd ch from hook and in the next 2 ch. (3 sc)
R2-3: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across. (3 sc)
FO, leaving a long tail for sewing.
Pinch the wing flat and sew it to the sides of the owl’s body, around R12-R15, as shown in the image.
Beak
Using a yarn needle and a small piece of Orange yarn, embroider a small triangular beak on the face, centered below the safety eyes, between R20 and R21.
Ears
To create the small ear tufts, use your yarn needle to pinch and sew a small ‘V’ shape on the top corners of the head, effectively creating two small points on R23-R24.
