- Stuff lightly. Embroider a small triangle nose in Yarn C onto the top center of the snout.
- Sew snout to the center of the head, below the eyes.
Ears (Make 2 – Yarn A, then Yarn B)
- Outer Ear (Yarn A):
- Ch 2.
- Rnd 1: 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook. (6 sts)
- Rnd 2: Inc in each st around. (12 sts)
- Rnd 3: [Sc in next st, inc] 6 times. (18 sts)
- Rnd 4-5: Sc in each st around. (18 sts)
- Sl st to join and FO, leaving a long tail for sewing.
- Inner Ear (Yarn B):
- Ch 2.

Backpack Straps (Make 2 – Alternating Yarn A, B, C)
- Using Yarn A: Ch 60 (or desired length).
- Row 1: Hdc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. (59 hdc)
- Row 2 (Yarn B): Ch 1, turn. Sc in FLO of each st across. (59 sc)
- Row 3 (Yarn C): Ch 1, turn. Sc in BLO of each st across. (59 sc)
- Row 4 (Yarn A): Ch 1, turn. Sc in FLO of each st across. (59 sc)
- FO, leaving long tails.
- Sew one end of each strap securely to the top of the backpack (near where the head meets the body, on the back side).
- Sew the other end of each strap securely to the bottom sides of the backpack, around Rnd 11-12.
Drawstring (Yarn B)
- Cut two long strands of Yarn B (approx. 60 inches each). Twist them together tightly and then let them twist back on themselves to create a twisted cord. Knot the ends.
- Weave the drawstring through the eyelets created in Rnd 34 of the Backpack Top, starting from the back. Thread it all the way around and out the front.
- Pull to gather and close the bag.
Finishing
- Weave in all remaining loose ends securely.
- Adjust features as needed.
