Continue Shaping: Rep Row 4, decreasing the number of (Ch 3, sc) repeats on the side sections by one each row, and increasing the number of (Ch 5, sc) repeats in the V-section by one on each side of the center (dc, ch 2, dc) until you have reached your desired depth for the necklace. The lace pattern will naturally widen. End with a row of mostly Ch 5 spaces in the V section.
Final Edging (Optional for bottom edge of V): Along the bottom edge of the V, you can add a decorative edging. Work (Sc, picot, sc) in each Ch 5 sp, or (Sc, ch 3, dc, ch 3, sc) to create small shell points. Fasten off and weave in ends.
Finishing:
