Instructions
This pattern creates individual flowers and leaves which are then joined together to form the bracelet. You will need to make approximately 5 Flowers and 10 Leaves for a standard bracelet length (adjust as needed).
Crochet Flower (Make 5)
Start: With Light Purple yarn, make a MR.
Round 1: Ch 1 (does not count as a stitch), work 8 sc into the MR. Join with a sl st to the first sc. (8 sc)
Petal 1: Sl st into the first sc. Ch 2, work 3 dc into the same sc, ch 2, sl st into the same sc.
Petal 2: Sl st into the next sc. Ch 2, work 3 dc into the same sc, ch 2, sl st into the same sc.
Petal 3: Sl st into the next sc. Ch 2, work 3 dc into the same sc, ch 2, sl st into the same sc.
Petal 4: Sl st into the next sc. Ch 2, work 3 dc into the same sc, ch 2, sl st into the same sc.
Fasten off, leaving a tail for weaving in or joining. Weave in the starting tail from the MR to close the center hole.
Crochet Leaf (Make 10)
Start: With Bright Green yarn, ch 7.
Row 1 (First Side): Sl st in the 2nd ch from hook, sc in the next ch, hdc in the next 2 ch, sc in the next ch, sl st in the last ch. (6 stitches)
Rotate: Ch 1, then pivot your work to crochet along the other side of the foundation chain.
Row 2 (Second Side): Sl st into the first available loop on the other side of the foundation chain, sc in the next ch, hdc in the next 2 ch, sc in the next ch, sl st into the very last stitch (same as the first sl st of R1).
Join with a sl st to the beginning sl st of Row 1. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for joining.
Assembly
Lay out your crocheted flowers and leaves in the desired sequence. A common arrangement is Flower, Leaf, Leaf, Flower, Leaf, Leaf, and so on.
Using your tapestry needle and the long tails, carefully sew the components together at their touching points. Ensure the connections are secure but remain flexible.
Once all pieces are joined to form the bracelet length, attach your chosen closure method. If using a button, create a small chain loop at one end of the bracelet and sew the button securely to the other end. If using a jewelry clasp, sew one half to each end of the bracelet.
