Assembly
The necklace is assembled by carefully joining the motifs. Refer to the image for placement. It’s recommended to lay out your motifs before joining to visualize the final shape.
Central Flower: Take the Ecru 5-Petal Flower. Using sewing thread and needle, sew the large pearl into the center of this flower. This is your central focal point.
First Layer of Leaves: Attach 4-5 Medium Lavender Leaves around the central Ecru flower, joining them by slip stitching or sewing their bases together to the back of the flower, forming a fan shape.
Adding Side Flowers: Attach one Soft Lavender 5-Petal Flower to each side of the central cluster (where the leaves meet the central flower). Sew a small pearl into the center of each of these lavender flowers.
Branching Out with Leaves:
Continue building outwards from the central cluster. Join Medium Ecru Leaves, then Medium Lavender Leaves, then alternating Small Ecru and Small Lavender Leaves.
Work symmetrically on both sides to create the desired V-shape of the necklace. Join motifs by slip stitching to adjacent motifs or by carefully sewing them together at their edges/bases using the yarn tails.
Integrating Buds: Intersperse the Small Bud Motifs (with small pearls sewn into their centers) among the leaves, especially where branches meet or to fill small gaps, as seen in the image. Alternate colors of buds and pearls.
Finishing the Neckband: Once the main decorative element is complete and shaped, attach a length of ch sts (or a row of sc) to each end of the necklace, long enough to go around your neck comfortably. Ensure these lengths are equal.
Attaching Clasp: Attach one half of the jewelry clasp to one end of the chain, and the other half to the other end using jump rings. Securely weave in all remaining yarn tails.
Tip: For a more secure and flat finish, blocking the individual motifs before assembly can be beneficial, especially for the leaves.
