Gauge: Not critical for this project, but aim for tight, even stitches for a delicate finish.
Note: Work all components tightly to achieve a delicate, structured look. The necklace is assembled by stitching the individual elements together and adding beads.
Small Rose (Make 3-4 in Coral Pink A, 2-3 in Light Cream B)
Ch 30.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, *sk 1 ch, 5 dc in next ch, sk 1 ch, sc in next ch*. Rep from * to * across. You should have a wavy strip.
Assembly: Starting from one end, tightly roll the strip into a rose shape. Secure the base with a few stitches using your tapestry needle and matching thread. Leave a tail for attaching.
Small Leaf (Make 8-10 in Olive Green C)
Ch 7.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc in next ch, dc in next 2 ch, hdc in next ch, (sc, ch 1, sc) in last ch (tip of leaf). Working down the other side of the chain: hdc in next ch, dc in next 2 ch, hdc in next ch, sc in last ch. Sl st to first sc to join. FO, leaving a tail for attaching.
Lace Filler Motif (Make 4-6 in Light Cream B)

Round 3: Sl st into first ch-3 loop. Ch 3 (counts as dc), (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) into same ch-3 loop (shell). *Ch 1, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) into next ch-3 loop (shell)*. Rep from * to * 4 more times. Ch 1, sl st to top of starting ch 3. FO, leaving a tail for attaching.
Connecting Chains/Beaded Strands (Olive Green C & Light Cream B)
These are various lengths of simple ch stitches, sometimes with beads threaded on.
Thread gold beads onto your C thread before starting. Create short chains (ch 5-10) and slide a bead onto the hook, ch around it, then continue with another short chain. These will be used to bridge gaps and add sparkle.
Assembly & Embellishment
Layout: Arrange your crocheted roses, leaves, and lace motifs on a flat surface in the desired necklace shape. Refer to the image for placement, forming a central focal point with roses and lace, tapering outwards with smaller elements.
Joining: Using your tapestry needle and matching threads, carefully stitch the components together. Start by joining the largest elements, then fill in with smaller leaves and lace motifs. Secure all tails.
Beading: Using fine beading wire or strong sewing thread, attach the pearl beads at key points on the roses, between the leaves, and along the lace motifs. Add small gold beads around the edges and as accents as desired.
Necklace Chains: Create two lengths of chain in Olive Green (C), approximately 8-10 inches each (adjust to desired necklace length). Attach one end of each chain to the outermost edges of your crocheted design.
Clasp: Attach one half of your jewelry clasp to the end of one chain and the other half to the end of the second chain. Weave in any remaining ends securely.
