Flower (Coral Pink)
Round 1: Start with a MR. Ch 1, make 10 sc into the MR. Join with a sl st to the first sc. (10 sc)
Round 2 (Petals): *Ch 1, (hdc, dc, hdc) in the next sc, Ch 1, sl st in the next sc.* Repeat 5 times. Fasten off and weave in ends.
Stamen (Yellow & Orange)
With Bright Yellow yarn: Ch 6. Sl st into the 2nd ch from hook and into the next 3 chs. (You should have 4 sl sts along the chain).
With Bright Orange yarn: In the very last yellow ch (where your last yellow sl st was made), make 3 sc. Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing. Weave in the starting yellow tail.
Leaves (Light Green) – Make 2
Ch 6. Sl st into the 2nd ch from hook, sc in the next ch, hdc in the next ch, sc in the next ch, sl st in the last ch. Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing.
Beaded Bracelet Cord (Cream/Light Beige)
Thread approximately 60-70 small gold seed beads onto your cream/light beige crochet thread using a thin needle or a bead threader.
Row 1: Ch 3. Sc in the 2nd ch from hook, sc in the next ch. (2 sc)
Row 2: Ch 1, turn. Sc in the first sc. Slide 1 gold bead close to your hook, then make 1 sc around the bead in the next sc. (This traps the bead within the stitch).
Repeat Row 2: Continue repeating Row 2 until your cord measures approximately 14-16 cm (about 5.5-6.5 inches) or desired wrist length, ensuring beads are evenly spaced. Work 2 plain sc in the last row to finish evenly. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
Assembly
1. Attach Leaves: Using the tails, securely sew the two light green leaves to the back of the coral pink flower base, slightly overlapping.
2. Attach Stamen: Sew the yellow and orange stamen to the very center of the coral pink flower.
3. Attach Flower to Cord: Center the finished hibiscus flower on the beaded bracelet cord. Using the remaining tail from the flower, securely stitch the flower to the cord, ensuring it lies flat.
4. Add Clasp and Pearls:
- Using a jump ring, attach one end of the beaded cord to one side of the bracelet clasp. Before closing the jump ring, add 2-3 small pearl-like beads to the jump ring for decoration, then close it securely using pliers.
- Repeat for the other end of the cord, attaching it to the other side of the clasp with a jump ring and an additional 2-3 pearl-like beads.
- Weave in all remaining loose ends securely.
