Instructions
Flower (in White thread):
Round 1: Start with a MR. Ch 1 (does not count as st), 6 SC in MR. Pull ring tight to close. Sl st to first SC to join. (6 stitches)
Petals (Repeat 6 times): [Ch 2, HDC in next SC, DC in same SC, HDC in same SC, Ch 2, Sl st in same SC]. After the last petal, sl st to the base of the first petal to secure. Fasten off and weave in ends.
Flower Center (in Bright Yellow thread):
Cut 5-6 short strands of bright yellow thread, each approximately 1 inch long.
Fold each strand in half. Using a small crochet hook or tapestry needle, pull the folded loop through the very center of the white flower. Pull the yarn tails through the loop to secure, creating small fringe-like stamens. Trim the ends evenly for a neat appearance.
Small Leaves (in Dark Green thread):
Join dark green thread to the back of the white flower, near a petal.
Leaf 1: Ch 4. Sl st in 2nd ch from hook, SC in next ch, HDC in last ch. Sl st back into the base of the flower to secure.
Repeat to create 1-2 more small leaves, positioning them strategically around the flower’s base. Fasten off and weave in ends.
Curling Tendrils (in Light Green thread):
Join light green thread to the back of the white flower, near a petal or a dark green leaf.
Tendril 1: Ch 15. Sk 1 ch, Sl st in next 14 ch. This will make the chain curl naturally. Sl st back into the base of the flower to secure.
Repeat to create 1-2 more curling tendrils, varying their lengths if desired. Fasten off and weave in ends.
Bracelet Band (in Cream/Beige thread):
Take a long strand of cream/beige thread (approx. 40 inches). Thread one end onto your tapestry needle.
Side 1 (Beaded Chain): Thread a pearl bead onto the yarn. Push it down. Make a small knot to secure it close to the end of the thread (leave a small tail for later). *Ch 3. Thread a pearl bead onto the yarn. Make a small knot close to the bead. Repeat from * until you have about 10-12 pearl beads integrated into the chain, leaving about 2-3 inches of plain chain at the end.
Attaching Flower: Position the finished flower at the approximate center of the beaded chain. Using your tapestry needle and a separate piece of cream/beige thread, securely sew the back of the flower to the plain chain section in the middle of your beaded band.
Side 2 (Beaded Chain): Continue the beaded chain pattern on the other side of the flower. *Ch 3. Thread a pearl bead onto the yarn. Make a small knot close to the bead. Repeat from * until you have 10-12 pearl beads integrated into this side as well, leaving about 2-3 inches of plain chain at the end.
Adjustable Closure:
Loop End: At one end of the cream/beige band, Ch 10. Sl st in the 5th ch from hook to form a small loop. Ch 1, turn, work 8 SC into the loop. Sl st to the last sl st of the band to secure. Fasten off and weave in ends.
Bead End: At the opposite end of the cream/beige band, thread the larger silver bead onto the yarn. Make a secure knot close to the bead to prevent it from slipping off. Fasten off and weave in any remaining ends.
Your delicate crochet flower bracelet is now complete!
