Assembly
Assemble Sofa Body: Fold the sofa base (15×10 sc rectangle) to create a U-shape where the 15-sc backrest edge aligns with the other 15-sc edge of the base. Stuff the base lightly. Using the long tail from the backrest, sew the backrest piece perpendicular to the back edge of the base. Stuff the backrest as you sew.
Attach Armrests: Position the armrest pieces on each side of the sofa base, perpendicular to the long edges. Stuff lightly and sew them securely in place using the long tails. Ensure the open ends of the armrests are sewn closed as you attach them.
Attach Seat Cushions: Sew the two stuffed seat cushions side-by-side onto the main base of the sofa, in front of the backrest.
Attach Legs: Using a tapestry needle and yarn (or craft glue), attach the 4 wooden beads evenly to the bottom of the sofa for legs.
Add Pillows & Blanket: Position the two small pillows on the sofa and stitch them in place with a few small stitches to prevent them from falling off. Drape the throw blanket over one armrest and the seat as desired, securing with a few hidden stitches if necessary.
Attach Keychain Hardware: Find the center top of the sofa’s backrest. Securely attach the keychain ring and swivel clasp by threading a small loop of yarn through the stitches and attaching the ring, or by sewing a small fabric loop and attaching the hardware to it.
