Instructions
Ring Band (Light Green):
With Light Green thread, Ch a length that snugly fits your finger when wrapped around (e.g., 50-60 chains for an average adult finger).
Sl St into the first Ch to form a ring, being careful not to twist the chain.
Ch 1 (does not count as a stitch). Work 1 SC into each Ch around the ring. (Total stitches should be the same as your starting chain count).
Sl St into the first SC to join.

Small Leaf (Make 8-12, Light Green):
With Light Green thread, Ch 7.
SC in 2nd Ch from hook, SC in next Ch.

Flower Center (Bright Yellow):
With Bright Yellow thread, thread your tapestry needle.
From the back of the flower, insert the needle through the center of the MR, pull through.
Wrap the yarn around the needle 3 times (French knot technique).
Insert the needle back into the center of the MR (a different spot very close to where it came out). Pull gently to secure the knot.
Repeat 1-2 more times to create a fuller center, if desired.
Secure yarn tails on the back of the flower.
Assembly:
Weave in all initial starting tails for the leaves and flowers. Only leave the long attachment tails.
Arrange the leaves and flowers on one side of the crocheted ring band. Aim for a natural, slightly clustered look, with some leaves peeking out from behind the flowers and some in front.
Using the long tails from each leaf and flower, sew them securely onto the ring band. Work the needle through the stitches of the ring band and the back of the individual pieces. Ensure they are firmly attached and hold their shape.
Weave in all remaining tails neatly on the inside of the ring band.
(Optional) For extra stiffness and durability, lightly dab fabric stiffener onto the leaves and petals. Gently shape them as desired while wet and allow to dry completely.
