Instructions
This pattern is worked in separate components which are then assembled.
Part 1: Yellow Center
Stamens (Bright Yellow)
R1: With Bright Yellow yarn, make a MR. Ch 1, 10 sc into MR. Join with sl st to first sc. (10 sts)
R2 (Bobbles): Ch 1, *sc in next st, (Yarn over, insert hook, pull up loop) 3 times in same st, yarn over, pull through all 7 loops on hook (Bobble stitch made)*. Repeat * 5 times. Join with sl st to first sc. (5 sc, 5 Bobbles). FO.
Using sewing needle and thread, sew one small white pearl bead onto the top of each bright yellow bobble. Weave in ends.
Inner Ring (Pale Yellow)
R1: Join Pale Yellow yarn in any sc stitch from R2 of Stamens. Ch 1, sc in each stitch around (working into sc and the top of each bobble to create 10 sc evenly). Join with sl st to first sc. (10 sc)

Assembly
Carefully layer the components: Place the Large Petal Flower first, then the Small Petal Flower on top, slightly offsetting the petals. Finally, place the Yellow Center on top.
Using your tapestry needle and white thread, stitch all layers together securely through their centers.
(Optional) Apply a small amount of fabric stiffener to the petals and shape them gently while wet for a more defined look. Allow to dry completely.
Hot glue the assembled flower securely to the flat pad of an alligator hair clip.
