Instructions
Fishbowl Body:
Start with Beige yarn to create the sandy bottom.
Round 1: 6 sc in MR (6)
Round 2: 6 inc (12)
Round 3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18)
Round 4: (2 sc, inc) x 6 (24)
Switch to Light Blue yarn for the water.
Round 5: (3 sc, inc) x 6 (30)
Rounds 6-12: sc in each st around (30)
Round 13: (3 sc, dec) x 6 (24)
Start stuffing the bowl firmly with fiberfill.
Round 14: (2 sc, dec) x 6 (18)
Round 15: (1 sc, dec) x 6 (12)
Round 16: Working in Front Loops Only, sc in each st around (12). Fasten off and weave in ends.
Hanger Loop: Join Light Blue yarn at the back rim of the bowl, ch 10, sl st back into the same st. Fasten off and weave in ends.
Tiny Goldfish:
Use Orange yarn.
Round 1: 4 sc in MR (4)
Round 2: (1 sc, inc) x 2 (6)
Round 3: sc in each st around (6)
Pinch the body flat. To make the tail fin: (ch 3, sl st into next st) x 2. Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing. Attach a small black bead or stitch an eye using black thread.
Assembly & Details:
- Embroider green seaweed strands on the front of the blue bowl using green embroidery floss.
- Sew the orange fish onto the side of the bowl, nestled among the seaweed.
- Attach a metal keychain ring to the crochet hanger loop at the top.
