Instructions
Panda Head: Start with White yarn. R1: 6 sc in MR (6). R2: 6 inc (12). R3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18). R4: (2 sc, inc) x 6 (24). R5: (3 sc, inc) x 6 (30). R6-11: 30 sc. Place safety eyes between R8 and R9. R12: (3 sc, dec) x 6 (24). R13: (2 sc, dec) x 6 (18). R14: (1 sc, dec) x 6 (12). Stuff firmly and fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing.
Panda Ears & Eye Patches (Make 2 of each in Black): For patches: Ch 4, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc, 3 sc in last ch, work on the opposite side: sc, inc. Fasten off. For ears: 6 sc in MR, do not join, fasten off.
Car Body (Yellow): Ch 15. R1: Sc around the chain (28 sc). R2-8: Work in spiral rounds, increasing at corners to create a rectangular block (approx 36 sts). R9-12: Work even. Shape the hood by working partial rows to form a cockpit. Stuff firmly. Sew light blue yarn or felt windows on the sides.
Wheels & Fenders (Make 4): For Wheels: Start with Grey, 6 sc in MR. Switch to Black: 6 inc (12). Fasten off. For Fenders (Blue): Ch 8, sc in each ch. Sew wheels to fenders, then sew them to the lower edge of the yellow car body.
Assembly: Embroider the panda’s nose and mouth. Sew ears and black eye patches to the head. Sew the head to a small black-and-white stuffed body cylinder. Wrap red yarn around the neck to form a scarf. Position the panda inside the car cockpit and sew securely. Add a small beige yarn ring to create the steering wheel.
