Assembly:
Place the two Burnt Orange bag panels together with wrong sides facing.
Using Teal Blue yarn, join the panels by working sc stitches along the bottom and both side edges. Work 1 sc into each hdc row end along the sides. Leave the top edge open.
Position the straight edge of the Teal Blue flap along the back top edge of the assembled bag. Ensure the flap is centered. Using a tapestry needle and Teal Blue yarn, sew the flap securely to the back panel of the bag.
Edging:
Using Teal Blue yarn, join with a sl st to any stitch at the top opening of the bag.
Work sc stitches evenly around the entire opening of the bag, including along the bottom edge of the flap. When you reach the start, join with a sl st to the first sc.
FO.
Strap (Burnt Orange):
Ch 130 (or desired length for strap).
Sc in the 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. (129 sc)
FO, leaving long tails.
Attach each end of the strap to the top side corners of the bag using the long tails and a tapestry needle. Weave in all ends securely.
Embroidery:
Using a tapestry needle and White yarn, embroider daisies onto the Teal Blue flap and the Burnt Orange front panel. For each daisy, create 5-7 petals using the Lazy Daisy Stitch.
Once all white petals are done, use Yellow yarn to embroider a French Knot in the center of each daisy.
Using a tapestry needle and Light Blue yarn, embroider leaf patterns around the daisies and along the edges of the Burnt Orange front panel. The Stem Stitch or Chain Stitch works well for leaves and vines.
Weave in all remaining embroidery ends on the inside of the bag.
