Crochet Pattern: Charming Crochet Flower Basket Hair Clip Free Pattern
Materials
- Fingering or lace weight yarn in Cream, Pink, Yellow, Light Blue, Purple, and Green
- 2.0 mm crochet hook
- Metal alligator hair clip (approx. 5 cm / 2 inches)
- Hot glue gun or strong fabric glue

Instructions
Basket:
Using cream yarn, chain 8.
Row 1: Sc in the second chain from the hook and in each remaining chain, turn. (7 sc)
Row 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in the first stitch, sc in the next 5 stitches, 2 sc in the last stitch, turn. (9 sc)
Rows 3-6: Ch 1, sc in each stitch across, turn. (9 sc)
Row 7: Ch 1, sc dec, sc in the next 5 stitches, sc dec, turn. (7 sc)
Handle: Without fastening off, chain 16, slip stitch to the opposite top corner of the basket. Fasten off and weave in ends.
Mini Flowers (Make 5 – in Pink, Yellow, Blue, Purple):
In a magic ring, repeat the following 5 times: (Ch 2, 1 dc, ch 2, sl st in ring). Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing. Use a contrasting color (like yellow) to stitch a small center knot for each flower.
Mini Leaves (Make 2 – in Green):
Ch 5, slip stitch in the second chain from the hook, sc in the next chain, hdc in the next, and slip stitch in the last chain. Fasten off.
Assembly:
Arrange the flowers and leaves peeking out of the top of the basket. Secure them using fabric glue or by sewing them to the back of the basket rim. Glue the finished crochet basket securely onto a metal alligator hair clip using hot glue.
