Necklace Assembly
Step 1: Construct the Main V-Shape
Take your Mint Green Central V-Shaped Motif.
Attach 2 Lavender Flowers and 2 Pale Yellow Flowers around the top edge of the Central V-shape, evenly spaced. Use sl sts or needle and thread to securely join.
Attach 4 Mint Green Leaves around the bottom sides of the central V-shape, two on each side, overlapping slightly as shown in the image. Secure firmly.
Step 2: Create the Side Strands (Make 2 identical strands)
Each strand will consist of alternating flowers and leaves, incorporating beads.
Using a Mint Green Leaf as a starting point, attach one Pale Yellow Flower to its top point with a sl st.
Attach one Lavender Flower to the other side of the Pale Yellow Flower.
Thread a bead onto your working thread (if crocheting beads in) or attach with needle and thread between motifs.
Continue alternating 1 Mint Green Leaf, 1 Lavender Flower, 1 Pale Yellow Flower, interspersed with beads, for a total of 3 leaves and 6 flowers per side strand, ensuring to reduce the size of flowers/leaves as you move towards the back of the neck if desired, though the image shows consistent size.
The image shows small beads integrated into the chain part. To do this: after making a flower/leaf, ch 3-4, slide a bead up to the hook, ch 1 (to secure bead), ch 3-4, then attach the next motif.
Step 3: Joining and Finishing
Attach one assembled side strand to each side of your Main V-Shape with sl sts or needle and thread.
For the back of the neck: Create two equal lengths of beaded chain using Mint Green thread. For each chain: ch 5, slide bead, ch 1, ch 5. Repeat 3-4 times depending on desired necklace length.
Attach one beaded chain to the end of each side strand.
Attach a jump ring to one end of the beaded chain and the lobster clasp to the other end.
Weave in all remaining ends securely.
(Optional) Lightly stiffen the necklace with fabric stiffener according to product instructions to help it hold its shape, especially the delicate petals and leaves. Allow to dry completely.
