Materials

• Light brown sport weight yarn (for the handle)

Instructions

Handle (using Light Brown Yarn):

• Round 1: Start with 6 sc in a Magic Ring (6)
• Round 2: [sc, inc] repeat 3 times (9)
• Round 3-15: sc in each st around (9)
• Stuff the handle firmly with fiberfill.
• Round 16: [sc, dec] repeat 3 times (6). Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Hammer Head (using Light Grey Yarn):

• Round 1: Start with 6 sc in a Magic Ring (6)
• Round 2: inc in each st around (12)
• Round 3: In BLO, sc in each st around (12)
• Round 4-10: Working in both loops, sc in each st around (12)
• Stuff the head firmly with fiberfill.
• Round 11: [sc, dec] repeat 4 times (8)
• Round 12: dec 4 times (4). Fasten off, weave in ends.

Claw (using Dark Grey Yarn):

• Row 1: Chain 7, starting in second chain from hook: sl st, sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc.
• Row 2: Chain 1, turn, sc in each stitch across to create thickness and curved shape. Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing.

Assembly:

• Sew the flat end of the handle to the middle underside of the light grey hammer head.
• Sew the curved dark grey claw piece to the back end of the hammer head, ensuring it curves downwards.
• Attach the metal keychain ring securely to the top center of the hammer head using a yarn loop or a metal jump ring.
