Crochet Pattern: Mini Crochet Guitar Keychain Free Pattern
Materials
- Fingering weight yarn in Light Blue, Brown, Beige/Cream, and Dark Brown
- White embroidery floss or thin silver thread for frets and strings
- 2.0 mm crochet hook
- Fiberfill stuffing
- Keychain ring
- Yarn needle, embroidery needle, and scissors

Instructions
Front Body (Light Blue Yarn):
Row 1: Ch 7, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across (6 sc), turn.
Row 2: Ch 1, inc, 4 sc, inc (8 sc), turn.
Row 3: Ch 1, inc, 6 sc, inc (10 sc), turn.
Row 4-7: Ch 1, sc in each st across (10 sc), turn.
Row 8 (Decrease waist): Ch 1, dec, 6 sc, dec (8 sc), turn.
Row 9: Ch 1, dec, 4 sc, dec (6 sc), turn.
Row 10 (Waist): Ch 1, sc in each st across (6 sc), turn.
Row 11 (Increase upper bout): Ch 1, inc, 4 sc, inc (8 sc), turn.
Row 12-14: Ch 1, sc in each st across (8 sc), turn.
Row 15: Ch 1, dec, 4 sc, dec (6 sc), turn.
Row 16: Ch 1, dec, 2 sc, dec (4 sc). Fasten off and weave in ends.
Border: Join blue yarn at any edge, sc evenly around the entire body to give a clean edge. Fasten off.
Back Body (Light Brown/Beige Yarn):
Repeat rows 1 to 16 of the Front Body using light brown or beige yarn to create the matching back panel.
Soundhole & Pickguard:
Using black yarn, make a magic ring and work 6 sc inside, join with a sl st to the first sc. Fasten off. Join cream yarn to the soundhole, ch 1, work 3 sc in the next 2 sts to create the teardrop pickguard shape, sl st in the remaining sts. Fasten off, leaving a long tail. Sew this piece to the center of the Front Blue Body.
Bridge:
Using dark brown yarn, ch 5, sc in the 2nd ch from hook and in the next 3 chs. Fasten off. Sew this to the lower part of the front body below the soundhole.
Fretboard & Neck (Dark Brown Yarn):
Ch 4, starting in the 2nd ch from hook, sc 3, turn. Repeat for 12 rows to create a long thin neck. Change to light brown yarn at the end of the last row to begin the headstock.
Headstock (Light Brown Yarn):
Row 1: Ch 1, inc, sc, inc (5 sc), turn.
Row 2-4: Sc across (5 sc), turn.
Row 5: Dec, sc, dec (3 sc). Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
Assembly & Details:
1. Using white embroidery floss, embroider horizontal parallel lines across the dark brown neck to represent the frets. 2. Sew the completed neck and headstock onto the upper section of the Front Blue Body. 3. Run long white or silver threads from the headstock down to the bridge to represent the guitar strings, securing them tightly. 4. Align the Front Body and Back Body together. Sew them together along the outer edges, adding a small amount of fiberfill stuffing before closing completely. 5. Attach the metal keychain ring securely to the top of the headstock.
