Crochet Pattern: Retro Crochet Game Controller Keychain Pattern
Materials
- Sport weight yarn in grey and black
- Embroidery floss in blue, red, yellow, green, and black

Instructions
Controller Body (Make 2):
Using grey yarn, chain 13.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in next 10 chs, 3 sc in the last ch. Work down the opposite side of the chain: sc in next 10 chs, 2 sc in the starting ch. Join with sl st. (26 sts)
Row 2: Ch 1, inc in first st, sc in next 9 sts, inc in next 3 sts, sc in next 9 sts, inc in last 2 sts. Join. (32 sts)
Row 3: Ch 1, sc in next st, inc in next st, sc in next 10 sts, [inc, sc] 3 times, sc in next 8 sts, [inc, sc] twice. Join. (38 sts)
Fasten off and weave in ends for the first panel. Do not fasten off the second panel.
Embellishments & Embroidery:
On the front panel, use black yarn or embroidery floss to stitch a cross-shaped D-pad on the left side.
Using blue, red, yellow, and green floss, embroider four small round buttons (X, Y, A, B) on the right side in a diamond layout.
Embroider two small diagonal black lines in the center for the Select and Start buttons, then stitch the words ‘SELECT’ and ‘START’ above and below them if desired.
Assembly:
Place the front and back panels together. Align the stitches and sc through both layers using grey yarn to join. Stuff lightly with fiberfill before closing completely. Fasten off and secure.
Attach a black loop of yarn to the top center and connect your metal keychain ring.
